Episode 19: The Life of Peter | Part 3 (Identity)
Bob and Jake continue the series on healing as seen through the life of St. Peter. Identity is the core of who we are and something that God wants to assure and clarify in us. Jesus changes Simon’s name to Peter signifying a deepening of his identity. God sees truly and clearly. He sees who we are meant to be. Practical Application
We deeply ache to have our identity validated. What are some of the healthy and unhealthy places you take those aches?
Jesus knows we are all longing to know who we are. Will we let Him answer us?
Begin a time of prayer by praising and being grateful to God for all the blessings in your life. Once your heart is connected to God, bring this deepest question to your loving Father: “Abba, who do you say that I am?” If you feel okay to do so, share the name you received with someone you trust.
What has God revealed about your true identity lately?
